PRAYER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT

 

Come, Holy Spirit,

descend upon me, and upon my family,

and fill us with your life,

transform us as You transformed the apostles in the upper room.

Give us the strength to witness to your presence in word and deed,

at home, in the workplace, at school, wherever we may be.

And help us to bear your fruits of love, joy, peace, long-suffering,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Amen.
