PRAYER FOR THE SICK

 

Loving Father, 

hear our prayer for ...............................,

whom we entrust to your care.

May s/he recover to complete health,

for the glory of your name,

and return to her/his duties to family, work and community.

If in your wisdom s/he must carry the cross of suffering,

may s/he find strength in uniting these pains with Jesus,

Your Son, whose triumph over suffering and death

won for us the rewards of eternal life.
