The Association of the Holy Family is a group of Christian families, approved by the Holy See, which through the consecration to the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph, intends to be a community of disciples, witnesses and apostles of Nazareth.
PRAYER FOR LOVE OF NEIGHBOR
Lord Jesus,
when You wanted to teach us about love of neighbor,
You told us the story of the Good Samaritan,
who had pity on the stranger he found robbed and beaten
by the side of the road.
Grant to me and to my family, I pray,
a heart of generosity and compassion.
May we not "walk past" human suffering.
May we not be so absorbed in ourselves
that we ignore those in need,
like the cold-hearted men in the parable.
May the poor, the sick, the lonely, the elderly, the downtrodden,
all find a home in our hearts and in our actions,
and may we consider it a privilege to do
for each of these "least" of your brethren,
what we would wish to do for You.
