Disciple of the Holy Family

Who is the disciple?

A Disciple of the Holy Family is the member of the Holy Family Association who commits to pray the Liturgy of the Hours, in spiritual communion with the whole Church, and thus, thanks God for the gift of life and for the path of salvation that His Son, Jesus Christ, has opened in his/her life.

A Disciple of the Holy Family, together with other members of the Association, praises God and prays for those who have been entrusted to the spiritual care of the Association.

A Disciple of the Holy Family yearly attends two days of recollection per year, preferably during Lent and Advent season.

A Disciple of the Holy Family attends a Scripture Sharing Meeting, or a Bible Lecture, or looks for books or magazines which increase his/her knowledge of the Word of God.

A Disciple of the Holy Family receives at home the Little Chapel with the images of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, and prays the official prayers of this devotion.

A Disciple of the Holy Family has a picture or a sculpture of the Holy Family of Nazareth in the main room of his/her home, and devotes him/herself to grow deeper in the mystery of the Gospel of  the Holy Family of Nazareth.
